Youth Mission Week - July 11-15, 2022, 10am - 4pm

Fisk UMC is partnering up with Community UMC to co-host Youth Missions Week July 11th-15th 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Open to all Fisk and Community UMC youth in grades 8th through 12th. This program will be free for Fisk and Community UMC youth and will include fun activities and mission projects.

Methodist Youth Fellowship - for all youth in grades 6-12

Youth Group is a safe space for students grades 6-12 to come hang out, eat, and challenge each other in their faith. We have fun playing games and getting to know each other. Youth Group meets once a month on the third Sunday, usually following morning worship (about 11:45am) until 1:30pm and periodically at other times. Additionally, each month the group hosts First Fridays at Fisk - a multi generational game night open to all from 6:30-8:30pm.

What happens at UMYF meetings? Activities vary, but may involve developing friendships and peer support, faith exploration, off site excursions, prayer, service projects at the church and in the community, Scripture discussions, and games. The goal is to maintain a fun, nonthreatening Christian environment, where junior and senior high participants can grow socially and in ministry together.

Prayer continues for our 2019 Confirmation Class

Pastor Alecia with Rev. Ted Crass of Community UMC, Wayland hosted Confirmation classes together at Community UMC in Wayland. It was a heart-warming experience with other United Methodist youth. Thanks to parents and Sunday school teachers for their nurturing and support.

October's First Friday

First Friday's at Fisk, Every First Friday of the month! 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Who :     Youth and Families of Fisk - all ages. It's a multi-generational game night for our Fisk Family
What : Light meal provided (pizza, veggies, dessert)
Bring :    Board, card, etc. game to share with the group. There will be ping pong, badminton and maybe a few other surprise games and activities
Why :     Fun, Fellowship, Friends, Family, Food
